TrustPay, What is it?

TrustPay is a standard bank transfer payment method available in Czech Republic in Czech Koruna, For any company with a Czech Republic target audience and international growth ambitions, TrustPay is a highly recommended payment method.

TrustPay, How does it work?

If the transaction is approved by TrustPay, the transaction status will change to completed and MultiSafepay will add the funds to the balance of your MultiSafepay Control.

TrustPay transaction flow

Order Status Financial Status Description
Initialized Initialized A payment link has been generated, but no payment has been received yet.
Completed Completed A successful Alipay transaction has been received and the funds will be added to your MultiSafepay Control balance.
Declined Declined Transaction has been rejected.
Expired Expired An unfinished transaction will automatically expire after a predefined period.
Void Canceled Transaction has been canceled.

Product Rules

Some rules may apply to certain payment methods. These rules apply to the payment method TrustPay.

  • The days and seconds active does not apply to the payment method TrustPay. The customer processes the payment from his/her own banking environment. As a result, it has a different payment flow and the setting of a days or seconds active will have no influence.

  • As it is a standard bank transfer method, an expiry date exception for TrustPay transactions has been set to 10 days.

  • The payment method Dotpay processes the currency Czech Koruna (CZK)

How to activate TrustPays

Note: Before applying for the payment method TrustPay, check with your account manager at MultiSafepay if you are eligible for the payment method.

TrustPay is an additional payment method. Therefore, an application is required. Submit your request by contacting your account manager or contact us at [email protected]

How to refund an TrustPay transaction

Please follow the following steps to refund a TrustPay transaction.

  1. Select transaction -> transaction overview in your MultiSafepay Control
  2. Find the transaction through search
  3. Open transaction
  4. Select refund
  5. Fill in the amount that you want to refund to the customer
  6. Confirm the refund.

MultiSafepay does not allow you to refund more than the stated amount of the original transaction

The transaction and order status are now initialized, as long as the transaction and order status are marked as initialized the refund can be canceled. When the transaction status is marked as completed, the refund is processed correctly.

The customer will receive the refund to the bank account number in which the transaction was originally paid to, within the next business day.

Outgoing payments will not be processed if your MultiSafepay balance is insufficient.
