This manual helps merchants to process MultiSafepay payments as quickly as possible from a PrestaShop 1.7 webshop. For some steps in this manual, assistance from your technical partner may be required.

When no external shipping method is used within the PrestaShop 1.7 plugin the My carrier should be enabled.
Follow the instructions within the PrestaShop 1.7 to enable the standard shipping method, my carrier.
Payment method -> Preferences -> Enable MultiSafepay in the my carrier within the Carrier Restrictions.
The carrier should always be activated within the payment preference of MultiSafepay. When disabled, no payment methods will be shown in the frontend of the webshop.
Generally, there are three ways to update a plugin. This can be done through the backend and through the marketplace from a CMS or through SFTP. However, we will be describing the necessary steps via the backend of PrestaShop.
Before you update the plugin, we strongly recommend you the following:
Go to our Manual page, download the plugin and follow the instructions from step 2.
To add a payment fee is not automatically supported within the plugin of Prestashop.
However, an external package of BVK is available. This allows you to still add a payment fee within the desired payment method.
Do mind that because an external module has to be installed, our technical support is limited.
See how applying payment fees or surcharges for your customers may affect your webshop on our PSD2 documentation page.
Of course we do our best to support and assist you. However, when we investigate or reproduce on the core of a plugin, we cannot guarantee perfect compatibility when installing an external package.
