This manual helps merchants to process MultiSafepay payments as quickly as possible from a Shopware 5 webshop. For some steps in this manual, assistance from your technical partner may be required.
We recommend you to install the plugin first on a test environment, and make sure you have made a backup.
We advise you to install the plugin through the recommended ways of the specific webshop system.

Yes, you can refund directly from your backend within Shopware 5. You can also refund from your MultiSafepay Control.
Please note: It is not possible to issue refunds for post-paid payment methods.
The MultiSafepay plugin for Shopware offers generic gateways.
You can use this gateway for example for branded gateways. In the MultiSafepay settings page in the Shopware backend, you can fill in the gateway code that is provided by MultiSafepay.

Migrating from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6 is not a simple task, although we do recommend to make the switch as soon as possible to avoid any un-wanted issues. Further support will only be offered for the next five years. Shopware 5 will still be supported in the following sequence:

Generally, there are three ways to update a plugin. This can be done through the backend and through the marketplace from a CMS or through SFTP. However, we will be describing the necessary steps via the backend of Shopware 5.
