About account types

A partner account is the account of a company that is not itself a merchant, but refers affiliated merchants to MultiSafepay on commission.

Affiliated merchants are referred to MultiSafepay and controlled by a primary merchant account or a partner account.

Partner and merchant accounts each represent a single legal entity that processes payments. They can support multiple:

  • Bank accounts

About partner invoices

MultiSafepay sends you partner invoices for the previous month, including:

  • Invoice date: the date you receive the invoice and VAT for the previous month
  • Invoice period: the month of the commission payout
  • Payout fee: payouts from your MultiSafepay balance to your business bank account cost 0,50 EUR each
  • Your monthly commission payout (excluding VAT)
  • VAT (21%): refunded to your account

Charging affiliates

Partners can charge affiliates at three levels:

  • Partner level: Set fixed or percentage-based transaction charges for all affiliated merchant accounts.
  • Affiliate level: Set fixed or percentage-based transaction charges for a specific affiliated merchant account. This overrides the partner-level settings.
  • Transaction level: Split incoming payments between multiple merchant or partner accounts. You …

To create accounts for affiliates, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your partner account.
  2. Go to the affiliate dashboard, click Affiliates.
  3. In the affiliate dashboard in the top-right corner, copy the Partnerlink and send it to your affiliates.

Customizing a welcome email for affiliates

To customize the welcome email for affiliates, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your partner account.
  2. Go to Settings > Email templates.
  3. Click Add new template.
  4. Click Load default template.
  5. Edit the template and fill out the fields as required.
Managing affiliate accounts

You can manage affiliates’ accounts using your affiliate dashboard. Once an affiliate is approved, to access their account, under the Action column for the relevant merchant, click the blue Sign in button.
